Lana Bead & Silver Drop Earrings
Regular price
£122.00 GBP
Color
Black Wood
A silver bar and a wooden bead, dropped from a pin and coil. The bar is cool and light against the neck. The bead settles warm just at the jaw. You feel them shift when you turn your head, a small easy movement, almost no weight on the ear.
Graphic enough to feel intentional. Light enough to forget.
Designer's Note
‘I wear these more than anything else I've made. They go with everything, which sounds like faint praise but isn't. It means I reach for them without thinking and they always do the rest. Then someone leans in and asks where they're from.’
Claire de Bezenac
925 sterling silver, hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office. Not plate. Real silver, with the weight and permanence that implies.
The wooden beads are made from reclaimed hardwood, offcuts of wood originally used in furniture-making. Each bead is polished with a vegan-friendly finish. The grain is unique to every piece. Available in three wood tones: black (tiger kamagong), red (bayong), and light (natural white wood or rosewood). Colours vary slightly between pieces. This is the nature of wood, not a variation in quality.
All orders are dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked and Signed or DHL. Free UK delivery on orders over £100. International flat rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. Please allow 2 to 4 working days for in-stock pieces, or 3 to 4 weeks where a piece needs to be made.
International orders may be subject to import duties on arrival. EU customers, we're happy to advise before you order. Write to us.
We offer a 28-day return window on all pieces in their original, unworn condition. To arrange a return, write to us at hello@mysilverwood.co with your order number and details.
Your Silverwood piece is made to be worn for years.

The Craft
Every Silverwood piece begins as two separate things: sterling silver and wood. And becomes something neither could be alone. The making is precise and unhurried, carried out by the skilled craftsmen and jewellers I work with here in England. There is nothing accidental in the finished piece.
Frequent Questions
Feel free to contact us if there is anything else you'd like to ask about
Are your pieces hallmarked?
Yes. All Silverwood pieces are hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office as required by UK law. The hallmark is your assurance of the metal's quality and authenticity.
How do I find my bangle / bracelet size?
Bring your fingers together and tuck your thumb toward your little finger, as if sliding a bangle over your hand. Then measure the widest point. Divide that measurement by 3.14 for the inner diameter needed, and add half a centimetre for comfort. If you're unsure, write to us. We'll help you get it right. For a bracelet, simply measure your wrist.
How long will my order take?
Pieces in stock are dispatched within 2–4 working days. Made-to-order pieces typically take 3–4 weeks. If you have a deadline, write to us before ordering and we'll tell you exactly where things stand.
Can I return my earrings?
For hygiene reasons we're unable to accept returns on earrings unless the piece is faulty. If something isn't right, please write to us within 48 hours of receiving your order and we'll sort it out.
