Iris Circle & Silver Tube Earrings
A single circle of bubinga on a sterling silver tube — the earring distilled to its purest form. The circle hangs at the jaw, flat and warm, the grain of the wood visible up close and the form unmistakable from a distance. The silver tube above it catches light where the wood holds it.

Designer's Note
“I made the circle earring last. I thought it would be obvious — the collection is called Iris, the forms are circular, the earring should be a circle. But getting the scale right took a long time. Too small and it disappeared. Too large and it competed with the necklace. This is the version I kept.”

The bead is made from reclaimed furniture-grade hardwood, polished with a vegan-friendly finish. The silver tube inner is set precisely so the bead sits cleanly on the cable — a small detail that makes the difference between a piece that holds its form and one that doesn't.
