As for many entrepreneurs, dedication and resilience has been paramount, because the last 2 years have been very challenging. Having launched Silverwood at pretty much the same time as Covid, it hasn’t been the ideal start. However, I am grateful and proud of what has been accomplished and that I have been able to start on this journey.
There have been many highlights:
- introducing our jewellery to the world for the first time through the launch of our website
- creating 4 full collections including necklaces, earrings, bangles, bracelets and now rings
- joining the National Association of Jewellers
- meeting many new people, including our lovely customers
- growing our Silverwood community
- display of our jewellery in a couple of art galleries
- listings on other online market places
- first projects with stylists, getting Silverwood pieces included in photoshoots
- first PR features in print and on line magazines and news media
- first social media marketing campaign
- planting trees with One Tree Planted, thanks to our customers
- Introduction of a couple of new designs, with more in the works
I want to take this occasion to thank all those who have supported and encouraged me along the way. A huge thank to our customers and to the members of our small but growing community.
