If you haven’t already figured it out, we love wood. We have chosen to use it as our special material. It still remains one of the most ecological and sustainable raw materials on the planet if sourced correctly.
Its colour and grain are often so underrated. People don’t always realise how valuable a material like wood can be. What adds to its intrinsic value within jewellery, sometimes made evident by its price tag, is the slow and meticulous craftsmanship that needs to go into creating a great piece.
A wooden piece of natural jewellery will find perfection in its imperfection with every single block, bead, or bangle being completely unique. That’s what makes it come alive. No piece of wood will be exactly the same.
Jewellery made from wood and other natural raw materials may never be as “perfect” as a machine made and moulded metal or plastic piece. But at the end of the day, it’s not the same thing. We are talking about a completely different league of high-quality hand-crafted jewellery.
